I expected these guys to have more plays. Oh well, people are missing out on a good band.

A band of people my age that is influenced by great older musicians and songwriters? There is hope for this generation after all.

I fell hard for Dawes' first two albums (particularly 'Nothing is Wrong'). Consequently, some of their latest sounds a bit corny and overproduced to me. But it's still a decent listen, with a handful of standouts. I've played it through many, many times and can't wait for them to return to Australia. Have a feeling some of the new stuff will really come to life in a live setting.
